Embark on an exhilarating paddle tour with Folgefonni Breførarlag! The tour starts with safety instruction and adjustment of equipment. Once everyone is ready, you set out on the real glacier kayaking adventure with paddles in your hands.
The journey goes along the scenic shoreline, where you can enjoy the stunning view of the glacial landscape. After approximately 3 kilometres, you go on shore at a pristine beach. Enjoy your lunch with the stunning views of the glacier.
This is a relatively new arm of the Folgefonna glacier. During the lunch break, the guide will share interesting facts and answer questions you may have. After the break, it’s time to paddle back to the starting point.
You can either bring your own lunch or pre-order it during the booking process.
Please note!
After the meeting in Rosendal, you drive your own car to the starting point. In the booking process please let us know if you have your own car. If not, we can organise transportation.
We need minimum 2 participants to run the tour. If the minimum is not reached, we will contact you to offer an alternative.
Practical information
Meeting point: Outside the tourist information in Rosendal (Skålafjero 17)
Please be at the meeting point no later than your departure time.
Minimum age: 15 y.o.
Guiding: English or Norwegian.
Dogs and other pets: not allowed.
Not accessible for wheelchair users, people with reduced functions of upper body or arms or heavily overweight (largest dry suit size is XXL).
Not recommended for women over 3 months pregnant.
Regular fitness level required.
